Description
The statue of Mary at Our Lady of Akita experienced supernatural events in the 1970s, including bleeding from its hand and weeping tears over several years. Sister Agnes Sasagawa heard voices from the statue and witnessed its tears. An investigation confirmed the supernatural nature of the events, and the local bishop approved veneration of the statue.
